A customer obtains a digital copy of a plastic card on their own

If your business uses plastic cards for customers, we recommend the following scenario for you to receive a digital copy of the card and self-registration of the customers:

  • The cashier gives a plastic card to a new customer and offers to register it and receive a digital copy.
  • The customer scans the QR code with his phone or enters a link in the browser on the phone.
  • On the opened page, the customer is prompted to enter a phone number for registration or authorization and confirm it with a PIN code. If this is a new customer, then they need to create a profile (name, date of birth, phone).

After that, the page offers the customer to scan the issued plastic card with the phone’s camera or manually enter its code. Then, the customer can download the pkpass file to the phone.
