inCust Register, the salesperson’s workplace

To credit or write off bonus points or a discount, your salesperson needs to “talk” to the inCust system. They can do it using Register – the web-based or mobile interface of the inCust system, designed for salespeople.

If you already use some POS (point-of-sale) system in your shops or service points, then you probably will find integration with POS systems handier.

Free inCust Online Register

inCust Online Register is the free online full-service workplace for a salesperson. It requires an internet connection on the tablet, laptop or computer.

It allows you to select a customer, view their profile, record the sale, calculate all amounts, give a discount or credit bonus points or write them off from the customer’s inCust account.

Save the https://terminal.incust.com link on your desktop or the home screen of the tablet.

Salespeople’s passwords are set in the Control Panel in the Settings/Registers and sellers section.

If you do not specify the goods, the Register requests to enter the amount of a sale manually. If you set the goods via Control Panel, the salesperson will be able to choose products and specify their number, in which case the Register calculates all values automatically.

For customers identification the salesperson asks the mobile phone number. The customers can install inCust mobile app on their smartphones or smartwatches and show at the point of sale. We recommend you to use a separate Android tablet to read the digital card that is mounted with a face to the customers at the cash desk. On the tablet is installed inCust Kiosk app, which allows customers to scan their card or enter their phone number (see below).
But instead of tablet you can also use two-dimensional code scanner, which has to be connected to a computer or tablet.

Simplified inCust Register

The simplified version is an online salesperson workplace, which is maximally simplified for use on any phone, tablet or computer. It is typically used for street trading or when the seller calculates or applies bonus points to, simultaneously adding the check to POS. It is similar to the inCust Register for Android regarding functionality, but it does not require installation.

Attention! Functionality is limited by entering the amount of purchases, so we recommend the use of ‘normal’ inCust online Register. The list of goods is not loaded automatically and can’t be used; you need to enter the amount manually.

The app for Android phone or tablet

This free app is basically designed for street trading or for those occasions, when you do not want to use the stationary workplaces for salespeople.

A salesperson identifies the customer using a phone or tablet (either scans customer’s inCust digital card with the help of a camera or enters customer’s phone number) and enters the total amount of the sale. The app calculates bonus points and discounts and allows to write them off.

Attention! Functionality is limited by entering the amount of purchases, so we recommend the use of ‘normal’ inCust Web Register. The list of goods is not loaded automatically and can’t be used; you need to enter the amount manually.

The important feature of this app is the ability to record sales when the phone has no connection to the Internet. All sales can be transmitted to the server when the connection becomes available, and customers will receive their accrued bonus points later.

inCust Steward for Android phone or tablet

inCust Steward is the supplementary software module that helps the waiter or employee in the hall identify the customer on-site while serving, for example, at the table in the restaurant.

When the waiter comes to the table to provide the bill to the customer, they use the inCust Steward app on a smartphone or a tablet for easy customer identification by phone number or inCust digital card.
The app automatically generates a temporary card that allows to write off or accrue bonus points from the customer’s account at the time of check entry to an accounting (such 1C or R-Keeper, etc) or POS system.

Additionally, the app is useful for the cases when there is no way to extend a POS or accounting system with card scanning or pin-based customer verification functions. An example of such system is R-Keeper.

Your accounting or POS system

If you use your accounting or POS program for sales handling, you have several options of using inCust.

First, it is possible that inCust is already integrated with your system (the examples of such systems include 1C, Poster, R-keeper, Bitrix24, SmartTouch, etc.). Please contact us to get more information about this support.

Next, you can start using our system without integration. For example, you can use Simplified inCust Register to credit bonus points to the customer’s account after the purchase, as well as to calculate or write off bonus points. When applying bonus points in the inCust Register app, you can add a “discount” in your POS system. The benefit of the doubled operations is the ability to use the reports in two systems to prevent theft and errors. The amount of written off bonus points and the amount of granted discounts in two systems have to match.

You can also integrate a loyalty program with the help of API (Application Programming Interface) command system into your accounting or POS system.

For customers identification in your POS you can use the customer’s phone number or scan with external scanner inCust digital card in the smartphone or smartwatch app.
But instead of scanner you can also use Android tablet with installed inCust LoginPad mounted with face to the customer. Customers scan their digital card or enter their phone number. Customer’s data immediately transfer to POS for future customer reward.

inCust Kiosk, customer self-service

If you have a large flow of customers, it is possible to implement a scheme where the customers identify themselves at the cash desk on their own, while the salesperson is preparing or calculating products. We suggest under your consideration the two schemes of working with customers using just one application inCust Kiosk.

At the cash desk would be a mounted tablet with installed inCust Kiosk.
According to the first scheme the customers scan their digital card (Qr-code from the mobile app for customers) or enter their phone number. Data immediately get into the system. On the screen of the tablet customers can rate the quality of service, learn about promotional activities and offers, and answer questions.

The second scheme of inCust Kiosk is used to implement a game scenario. The customers without the participation of the salesperson log in to the program and bonus points for visit are credited immediately. If they had accumulated enough they can write off rewards on their own. For example, get a discount on the service or get a free gift. Then they show salesperson a screen, which indicates confirmation of writing off. This variant doesn’t require salespersons to have installed any additional software.

inCust LoginPad is the light version of the Kiosk created for the customer’s self-identification at the point of sale. At the cash desk would be a mounted tablet with installed inCust LoginPad and customers scan their digital card (Qr-code from the mobile app for customers) or enter their phone number. Data immediately transfer to your account and the salesperson doesn’t have to spend time on the customer’s identification.
